The World Needs Bullpups campaign is the most important fundraising effort in the history of Gonzaga Preparatory School, securing a future of excellence and opportunity for today’s youth and generations to come.

Gonzaga Prep has launched a $24M campaign that will advance the impact of our mission by creating opportunities for excellence through endowed scholarships, program enhancements, and capital investments. This historic effort will secure the resources needed to invest in our people, programs, and facilities, ensuring that our students are supported by outstanding faculty, enriched learning opportunities, and a thriving campus environment. Grounded in Jesuit values, this campaign strengthens our commitment to forming confident, faith-filled leaders who are ready to meet the challenges and opportunities of the future.

Why now?

The future of Prep is at stake. Here’s why:

The Resource Gap

The cost of education is outpacing median incomes and middle class families can no longer afford to send their kids to Prep. The gap between full cost and average tuition is growing fast, forcing the school to rely heavily on annual giving, and limiting the school’s ability to invest in the people, programs, and infrastructure that sustain the excellence of Prep’s holistic educational program.

The high cost of education has led to lower enrollment (820). The school needs to add 100 new students to achieve full enrollment and a sustainable financial model. An enrollment of 920 will enable Prep to provide the ideal range of academic and co-curricular programs, while fostering an educational atmosphere where students are individually known and recognized.

Through the success of this campaign, Gonzaga Prep will grow the scholarship endowment to ensure access for generations of future Bullpups. A stronger financial model will sustain continual reinvestment in the people, programs, and campus spaces that define the Prep experience. By providing an exceptional Jesuit and college preparatory education, Prep will uphold the value of its tuition and sustain a level of excellence that serves the greatest number of students.
